Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cottoneye Joe (ranked 2800 p4p, 3090 weight class) and Herminos Lugnunum (ranked 308 p4p, 335 weight class). Herminos Lugnunum is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cottoneye Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Herminos Lugnunum!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe tries to clinch but Lugnunum moves out of range.
Joe thumps Lugnunum with a low kick.
Lugnunum shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joe as he avoids it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lugnunum has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lugnunum.
Joe thumps Lugnunum with a low kick.
Joe connects with a high kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lugnunum is defended easily by Joe.
Joe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Cottoneye Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herminos Lugnunum.
Lugnunum shoots for a takedown but Joe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lugnunum on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lugnunum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Joe but Joe pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lugnunum has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Joe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Joe throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lugnunum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Joe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Our sources have told us that Joe has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lugnunum goes for a takedown attempt but Joe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lugnunum tries for a takedown but Joe circles away easily
and Joe moves into the clinch.
Joe using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lugnunum has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lugnunum has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Joe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lugnunum tries for a takedown but Joe manages to get underhooks.
Joe scores with a knee to the head.
Joe unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Lugnunum looks winded!
Joe lands a knee to the head.
Joe drops Lugnunum with a big knee straight up the middle! Lugnunum is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Herminos Lugnunum has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by Joe - that's a beauty! Lugnunum is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Joe can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cottoneye Joe!
A relieved looking Cottoneye Joe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
