Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desmond Galli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tmas Panzy!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Galli.
Galli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Panzy manages to avoid it.
Panzy shoots in for a takedown but Galli shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A little feinted left hand from Galli on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Galli scores with a shot to the body.
Panzy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Galli's half guard.
Panzy is thwarting Galli's attempts to control the position.
Galli is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Gumburcules Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Panzy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Galli won't allow Panzy to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galli is looking for a sweep. Panzy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Panzy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Galli defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Panzy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Galli keeps working.
Galli tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Panzy has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Panzy controlling the pace for now.

Panzy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Galli can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Galli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Panzy on the ground.
Panzy keeps control of the position easily here as Galli tries to buck him off.

Panzy has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Galli is defending well but eventually Panzy manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Galli has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
