This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 20 losses; Chan Siam! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 32 wins and 35 losses; Roman Boesku!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Siam fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boesku sprawls well initially but Siam persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Siam (2) vs (0) Boesku
Boesku is looking for a sweep. Siam is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Siam has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Boesku stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Siam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
