This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 9 losses; Jimmy Burroughs! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 31 losses; Ceph Alopodis!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Alopodis is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Burroughs is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Burroughs flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Alopodis anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Burroughs and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Alopodis slips an arm under Burroughs chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Alopodis has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Alopodis is squeezing on Burroughs like an anaconda would it's prey. Burroughs fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
