Fertitta has chosen Wretched Destroyer as his entrance music. Fertitta has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fertitta sprawls well. Fertitta wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet.
Fertitta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Oliveira.
Fertitta fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oliveira appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Oliveira closes the distance and clinches up with Fertitta, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes Fertitta against the cage but Fertitta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
