PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Un Kha (ranked 24671 p4p, 4271 weight class) and Lucas Jabuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kha comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Jabuszko!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kha blocks a head kick by Jabuszko.
Kha seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kha dives in and grabs Jabuszko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jabuszko pushes down on Kha's head and hops out.
Jabuszko is looking for the big counter here.
Jabuszko goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Jabuszko tries a head kick but it misses.

Kha manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jabuszko on his heels. He'll look to pass Jabuszko's guard now, I'm sure.

Kha wants to work for an arm triangle but Jabuszko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kha goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jabuszko has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kha but great work by Jabuszko.
Jabuszko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Jabuszko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Kha has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jabuszko misses with the ground and pound.
Kha tries to buck Jabuszko off but Jabuszko is having none of it.

Kha manages to get back to half guard.

Jabuszko is trying to control. Kha wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jabuszko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kha's head.
Jabuszko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kha looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jabuszko is looking to take a break and control but Kha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Jabuszko dives in and grabs Kha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kha pushes down on Jabuszko's head and hops out.
Kha avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kha looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Kha is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jabuszko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kha.

Kha is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jabuszko is looking for a sweep. Kha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lucas Jabuszko will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Kha counters by moving into the clinch.
Kha is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jabuszko gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jabuszko pushes off an throws an elbow but Kha leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Kha unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jabuszko lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Jabuszko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kha goes for a takedown attempt but Jabuszko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Un Kha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kha shoots for a double leg takedown but Jabuszko sprawls well. He's pushed Kha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jabuszko is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jabuszko as he jumps to the side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lucas Jabuszko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jabuszko sprawls well. Jabuszko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kha gets slowly back to his feet.

Jabuszko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kha swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kha closes the distance and clinches up with Jabuszko, looking for a takedown. Kha pushes Jabuszko against the cage but Jabuszko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kha shoots in but Jabuszko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jabuszko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lucas Jabuszko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kha on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jabuszko lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kha.
Jabuszko tries to score a body lock takedown but Kha shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kha has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jabuszko is trying to keep an underhook but Kha manages to get the takedown into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kha wants to finish this one by submission but Jabuszko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kha.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lucas Jabuszko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jabuszko winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
