Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Little (ranked 3470 p4p, 4083 weight class) and Devon Black (ranked 413 p4p, 459 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devon Black! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black avoids the body shot from Little.
Black with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Little to score with a decent uppercut. Little throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it. Black with the counter takedown but Little avoids it easily. Little misses with a hook
and Black counters with a single leg into guard. Little didn't expect that. Black's corner is telling him to maintain position. It looks like Black might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Black slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Black looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Black is putting a hurting on Little here, landing some big shots from side control. Black lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. We've been hearing good reports from Little's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Little dodges the ground and pound from Black. Black moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Black goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Little rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Black's guard! Nice work there by Little!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Little avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Little stays in close to Black's body and controls the position. Black is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Little is aware though and is defending well. Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Little trying to stand up but can't free himself from Black's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black is trying to keep Little in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Little has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Black is proving hard to escape from. Little trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Black is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Black trying to keep a closed guard but Little is proving a slippery customer.
Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Little doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Little manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Little wanted to stand there but Black had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Black looking for a sweep. Not yet Black, not yet. Little wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving. Black pushes a forearm under Little's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Little is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
