Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Evil by Interpol as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burnett circles away quickly and effectively.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A head kick misses from Brown.
Burnett looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well.
Brown throws a combination. Burnett tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Burnett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Burnett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brown scores with a hook.
Burnett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown looks for the body kick but Burnett saw that one coming.
Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Burnett circles away.
Glen Burnett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dee Brown.
Burnett scores with a one two! Brown had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Burnett forces Brown back against the cage and clinches.

Burnett lands an elbow inside.
Burnett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brown backwards.
Burnett lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Burnett lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brown has hold of Burnett's hands but Burnett slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Brown regains full guard. Nicely done.
Burnett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Burnett lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burnett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Burnett keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.

Brown is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Brown drops back looking for a leg! Burnett is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burnett manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Burnett's guard.
Burnett can't keep his opponent in guard - Brown advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Burnett has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Brown is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Brown is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brown moves to back control.
Brown lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Burnett hold on?!
Burnett won't enjoy being in this position. Brown looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Burnett is tapping - it's over boys! Brown picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dee Brown!
