Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24333 p4p, 24635 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sapi sprawls well initially but Libat persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Libat controlling the action here. Sapi trying to control here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi has his hands clasped together around Libat's back. He's all about the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sapi is controlling Libat's trapped leg to prevent Libat from advancing to side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Libat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well. Libat dives in for a single leg takedown but Sapi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sapi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Libat wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Libat.
Libat is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Sapi can't get the takedown.

Sapi wants to take the fight to the mat but Libat manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sapi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Libat fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Libat shoots in for a takedown but Sapi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sapi shoots in looking for a takedown. Libat tries to sprawl out of it but Sapi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Libat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat gets a double leg takedown into Sapi's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sapi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Libat to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sapi has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position. Let's hope that Sapi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Sapi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sapi trying to control the position.
Sapi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sapi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Libat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Libat wants it to stay on the feet. Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sapi avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Libat with that takedown attempt. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well. Sapi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Libat fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sapi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sapi shoots for a double leg takedown but Libat sprawls well. He's pushed Sapi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As Sapi looks to move away, Libat throws a big counter combo but Sapi just gets out of the way. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Sapi tries for a takedown but Libat circles away easily and Libat counters with a big head kick but Sapi shrugs it off. Libat tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sapi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Libat somewhat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Libat shoots in but Sapi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Libat is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sapi can do to turn this around? No luck for Sapi with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sapi wants to control from the top but Libat keeps moving. Sapi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Libat trying to strike off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Libat controlling Sapi's posture. Libat doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sapi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Libat is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sapi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat tries to roll over but Sapi keeps him under control. Well, if Sapi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sapi is looking to take a break and control but Libat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Libat trying to control but Sapi postures up.
Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Higanti Libat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Libat has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
