Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chike Obi (ranked 688 p4p, 978 weight class) and Motshan Bogachev (ranked 97 p4p, 138 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chike Obi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Motshan Bogachev!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obi misses with a hook. Bogachev ducked under it nicely.
Bogachev throws a lazy right hand but Obi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Obi throwing a counter right hand but Bogachev manages to avoid it.
Obi misses with a straight left.
Bogachev walks into a left hand.
Bogachev shoots in but Obi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bogachev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Obi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bogachev somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Obi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Bogachev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bogachev shoots in and drives through. Obi sprawls well.
Chike Obi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Motshan Bogachev.
Obi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bogachev was well out of range. Poor timing from Obi.

Obi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bogachev swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bogachev fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Obi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Chike Obi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That kick from Bogachev tenderised Obi's leg. Obi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Obi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Obi throws a jab when Bogachev was well out of range.
Bogachev closes the distance and pushes Obi back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
