Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between stefan edstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Vento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). edstrom's entrance music is who let the dogs out. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vento fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vento blocks a head kick by edstrom.
edstrom fails with the takedown

and Vento counters with a nice double leg into side control. edstrom won't be happy with that.

Vento decides to stand back up.

edstrom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vento looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
edstrom controlling the position from side mount.
Vento is trying to get back to half guard.
Vento regains half guard.

edstrom is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vento doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time edstrom.
Vento is looking for a sweep. edstrom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vento is pressing down on edstrom's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Vento has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. edstrom doesn't defend quickly enough and Vento has managed to lock this one up! Can edstrom escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Vento on a fantastic submission victory.
