Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Prescott (ranked 1332 p4p, 1569 weight class) and Garrett Smythe (ranked 187 p4p, 233 weight class). Prescott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Negative Creep - Nirvana . Smythe has chosen The Chairman's Intent: Action Bronson as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pete Prescott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garrett Smythe!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smythe lands a jab-cross combination.
Smythe throws a leg kick
and Prescott counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Prescott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smythe can pounce on him.
Prescott needs to keep his hands up - Smythe had a free shot at his head there.
Prescott thuds his right hand into Smythe's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Prescott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice body punch from Smythe.
Prescott ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smythe moves away.
Smythe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Prescott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smythe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prescott loads up on a big right hand but Smythe slips the punch.

Smythe cracks Prescott with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Prescott counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Prescott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smythe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Smythe throws a shot from downtown. Prescott moves away and avoids it.

Smythe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Smythe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Garrett Smythe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Prescott throws a front kick aimed at Smythe's knee but Smythe avoids it well.
Prescott closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smythe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Prescott checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Smythe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Prescott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smythe manages to avoid it.
Smythe throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Prescott.
Prescott takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Prescott lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Smythe falls backwards - clearly groggy! Prescott dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

After winning the bout, Pete Prescott thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
