Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between KO Jacckson (ranked 3019 p4p, 3205 weight class) and Somporn Metharom (ranked 390 p4p, 403 weight class). Metharom has chosen Porcelain - Moby as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, KO Jacckson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Somporn Metharom!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metharom throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Metharom tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jacckson is able to avoid easily.
Jacckson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Metharom looks for the body kick but Jacckson saw that one coming.
A low kick lands for Metharom.
Metharom tests Jacckson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Metharom lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jacckson at a distance.
Jacckson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Metharom.
Jacckson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Jacckson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

A little feinted left hand from Jacckson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Metharom.
Metharom throws a leg kick which misses Jacckson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jacckson tries to avoid it.

Jacckson is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jacckson tries to clinch up.

Jacckson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jacckson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Metharom avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KO Jacckson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jacckson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Metharom to keep the fight standing.

Jacckson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Metharom has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
