Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Miller (ranked 4490 p4p, 25178 weight class) and Eric Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Liu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Liu!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu moves in looking to clinch but Miller pushes him off.
Miller swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Liu walks into a jab.
Liu tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range.
Liu ducks under a wild hook from Miller.
Liu rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
Liu stalling in the clinch.
Miller lands a left hand.
Miller unloads a knee to the mid-section.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liu wants to break free but Miller has control.

Miller digs a right hand into Liu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Liu's gas tank.

Miller's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Liu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Liu has had enough of the clinch but Miller keeps him there for the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Miller has Liu pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Liu is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Miller - that's hurt Liu badly! Oh, another knee lands and Liu is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Liu doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Joshua Miller!
