Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akihiro Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rush St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ono kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is TNT. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rush St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ono has St Pierre up against the cage in a clinch.

St Pierre is working Ono over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but Ono has wrist control. Ono avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ono scrambles and gets back to his feet.

After a battle for position, St Pierre asserts his dominance and retains side control. St Pierre thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The strikes coming from St Pierre are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Ono dodges the ground and pound from St Pierre. St Pierre passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ono! Rush St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rush St Pierre's cut. That's time! Ono's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. St Pierre shoots for a takedown but Ono saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ono feints and then cracks St Pierre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow St Pierre down. Ono pushes St Pierre away with a front kick. St Pierre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akihiro Ono. I think Ono has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
