Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6314 p4p, 23825 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 59 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 66 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter A defends well and Fighter B ends up having to push Fighter A into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fighter B just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFighter A. Fighter A shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter B's guard. Fighter B is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fighter A dives into side control.
Fighter B is trying to control Fighter A's posture but Fighter A avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A working the head with strikes. Fighter A in the domination position with Fighter B hanging on. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A scoring with punches from side control. Fighter B struggling a bit here. Fighter A staying calm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter B is trying to improve his position. Fighter B parries the strikes from Fighter A easily there. Fighter A is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fighter B to escape.
Fighter A controls the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Fighter B is avoiding damage well.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter A circles away. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. Fighter B looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fighter B shoots in but Fighter A avoids the takedown attempt easily. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fighter A passes into side control, despite Fighter B's attempt to control the position.
Fighter B being controlled for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fighter A shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter B is trying to defend but Fighter A finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fighter B regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Fighter A. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Fighter B preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fighter B throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fighter A uses it to pass to side control.
Fighter B is trying to control Fighter A's posture but Fighter A avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter B is being controlled here. Fighter B is holding Fighter A down, trying to stall. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter A working away. Fighter A controls the position from side control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B shoots for a takedown but Fighter A saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter A went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. As Fighter B backs away, Fighter A returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. A leg kick checked by Fighter A. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Fighter A will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fighter B looking to sit in guard and control but Fighter A gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fighter B not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fighter B managing to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Fighter B shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fighter A is trying to control but can't.
Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around? Fighter A is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter B from advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B lands strikes from half guard. Fighter B with the ground and pound but Fighter A uses the opportunity to regain guard. Fighter A looking for a sweep. Not yet Fighter A, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fighter B wants to control from the top but Fighter A keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter A's waist but Fighter A gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter B off to one side. Fighter A is looking to counter with head kicks. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter B enables Fighter A to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter B manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fighter A not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Fighter A is working Fighter B over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xxx Xxx. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
