Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Takamoto Yuu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Valero was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Yuu darts in and clinches Valero up against the cage.
Yuu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Valero is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Yuu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice sprawl there from Valero as Yuu shoots in.
Yuu is looking to clinch but Valero is avoiding it.
Valero stuffs the takedown attempt from Yuu. Yuu gets slowly back to his feet.
Valero tried to counter with a leg kick but Yuu avoided it.
Edwin Valero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takamoto Yuu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Valero gets a double leg takedown into Yuu's guard.
Valero pushing down on Yuu's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Valero works his way into full mount!
Valero seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Yuu is holding on tight.

Valero goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Yuu is on top in guard.

Valero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yuu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yuu throws a big elbow that misses.

Valero is looking for a triangle but Yuu pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yuu is one step ahead there.
Yuu wants to control from the top but Valero keeps moving.
Yuu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Valero has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Yuu doesn't defend quickly enough and Valero has managed to lock this one up! Can Yuu escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Valero on a fantastic submission victory.
