Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kook Kane (ranked 2413 p4p, 3727 weight class) and Justin Rosenberger (ranked 343 p4p, 492 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosenberger blocks a jab.
Rosenberger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rosenberger moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Rosenberger scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kane gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rosenberger.
Kane misses with a body shot.
Rosenberger darts in looking for a takedown but Kane gets double underhooks and turns Rosenberger into the cage.
Kane throws a hook to the side of Rosenberger's head but Rosenberger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kane has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rosenberger has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
