The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breznikov tries to move into range but Norseson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Norseson lands with a straight right. Breznikov didn't see that one coming.
Breznikov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Breznikov misses with a low kick.
Norseson cracks Breznikov with a good jab.
Norseson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Breznikov misses with a straight right.
A little feinted left hand from Norseson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Breznikov misses with a looping left.
Breznikov drops his hands momentarily and Norseson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Norseson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Breznikov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Norseson sprawls well initially but Breznikov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Norseson pushes Breznikov off and gets back to his feet.
Norseson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Hands Norseson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
