The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tek should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sup Tek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Man tries to kick Tek off but Tek keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tek works over Man with some ground and pound from guard.
Tek cracks Man with a solid left hand.
Tek trying to control but Man is working from the bottom.
Tek looking to sit in guard and control but Man gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Man wants to get up but he can't break Tek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Man slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Man trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Man throws a strike but Tek rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tek prevents Man from getting back to his feet.
Man looking to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Man looking for a sweep. Not yet Man, not yet.
Man trying to control the position.
Tek trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Leech Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Man throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tek on the side of the head.
Tek takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
