Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond King (ranked 2393 p4p, 4057 weight class) and Chief Waterfall (ranked 343 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chief Waterfall! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King swinging wildly here.
King dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Raymond King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Waterfall shoots and misses letting King counter with a right hand. Waterfall looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range. King scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. King fails with an attempt to clinch.
Waterfall clinches up with King and pushes him back against the cage. King is trying to break the clinch but Waterfall is controlling him. King breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Waterfall counters with a one-two to the body. King lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Waterfall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Waterfall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. King shoots in for a takedown but Waterfall shows good takedown defense. King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waterfall throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Waterfall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one. King clinches up with Waterfall and pushes him back against the cage. King has a couple of punches blocked by Waterfall.
Waterfall dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Waterfall wants to take the fight to the mat but King manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. King lands a nice uppercut. King is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Waterfall is defending well for now. King drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

King lands a jab. King shoots in and drives through. Waterfall sprawls well. Waterfall wants to counter the offense by King and move into the clinch position. Some wild striking there from King.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Waterfall is defended easily by King. Nice sprawl there from King as Waterfall shoots in. Waterfall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Waterfall stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet. Despite the aggression on Waterfall's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Waterfall sprawls well. Waterfall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raymond King dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! King tries to clinch up. Raymond King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Waterfall goes for a double leg but King avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King continues to drive forward. Waterfall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It looked like King was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Waterfall blocks a head kick by King.
Waterfall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Waterfall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Waterfall blocks a head kick by King.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Waterfall walks into a jab. King takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. King slaps away a takedown attempt from Waterfall, before circling back to the center of the mat. As Waterfall looks to move away, King throws a big counter combo but Waterfall just gets out of the way. King tries to close the distance and clinch but Waterfall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Waterfall is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Waterfall takes a jab right on the kisser.
King scores with a hook to the body. Waterfall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Waterfall is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Waterfall moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off. Horrible takedown attempt by Waterfall or perhaps it was just good defense by King, which made it look bad. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King tries to clinch up but Waterfall circles away and keeps his distance. And that is the end of the round. That was a close second round but I would say that Raymond King will probably get the nod. That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. King with a poor takedown and Waterfall counters with a one-two to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Waterfall. King appears to be looking for a big counter. Waterfall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Waterfall is struggling to control the position. Waterfall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Waterfall swats away the attempt to clinch by King. Waterfall looks like he wants to counter punch here. King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Waterfall looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Waterfall throws out a powerful jab. Waterfall has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. King throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Waterfall slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Some wild striking there from King.
King lands a jab to the nose. Nice body kick there by Waterfall. Waterfall darts in looking for a takedown but King gets double underhooks and turns Waterfall into the cage. As Waterfall looks to move away, King throws a big counter combo but Waterfall just gets out of the way. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Waterfall fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King throws a right and a left that Waterfall avoids nicely. King throws a head kick but Waterfall moves out of range.
King shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Waterfall eats them both and turns towards King to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Waterfall shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Waterfall's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. King with a hook. Danga de danga de dang - King scores with a four punch combination! Waterfall takes a kick to the side of the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Waterfall wants to clinch. King swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Waterfall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but King defends it well. King tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Waterfall defends well and King ends up having to push Waterfall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Waterfall feints the counter takedown.

King drops down looking for an ankle pick but Waterfall pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Waterfall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Waterfall is pressed up against the cage. King has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Waterfall down to the mat. Waterfall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Waterfall is defended easily by King. The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though. King wants to clinch up but Waterfall keeps it at a distance. Chief Waterfall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Waterfall wants to clinch up but King keeps it at a distance. King is looking for a counter combo.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raymond King. Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
