Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a head shot.
Mikhailov moves out of range of the strikes.
A lazy left from Silva finds it's target.
Silva stalks Mikhailov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mikhailov's face. Mikhailov staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Andrei Mikhailov has been cut.
Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mikhailov throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mikhailov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Silva defends it well.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mikhailov.
Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mikhailov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mikhailov on the side of the head.

Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mikhailov can do to turn this around?
Mikhailov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.

Mikhailov stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mikhailov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Let's hope that Mikhailov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
