Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlinho Motosserra (ranked 4366 p4p, 5198 weight class) and Thomas Engine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charlinho Motosserra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charlinho Motosserra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Engine! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Motosserra misses so Engine counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Motosserra is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Engine is controlling him. Engine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Motosserra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Motosserra is on top in guard.
Engine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Motosserra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Motosserra seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Engine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Motosserra defends it easily. Motosserra gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Motosserra shoots in and gets a takedown into Engine's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Engine being controlled here, momentarily. Motosserra advances position into side control! Motosserra moves into full mount! Motosserra throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Motosserra throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Engine because Motosserra loaded up on that one. Motosserra controlling his opponent. Poor strikes thrown by Motosserra there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Motosserra tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Motosserra throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Motosserra working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Engine looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Motosserra! Submission of the night perhaps?
