Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arild Moen (ranked 4095 p4p, 3558 weight class) and Van Peta (ranked 444 p4p, 408 weight class). Peta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. O RetrÃ´ Ativo - HerÃ³is do Status Quo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Peta!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peta shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Peta drops an elbow to the side of Moen's head.
Peta looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've been hearing good reports from Moen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Van Peta decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
