The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Gatis Krutainis has been cut.
Gill on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gill shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Krutainis is trying to defend but Gill finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Krutainis actively working from the bottom here.
Krutainis is not content to let Gill control the position.
Gill tries to stand but as he's on his way up, Krutainis locks on to a trailing arm. Oh, he's locked on a tight looking armbar - Gill could be in trouble here! Yes, he's tapped! This one is all over!
