Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wesley Clark!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark connects with a leg kick.
Johns takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Johns on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Johns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clark moves away.
Johns gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Clark.
Johns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Johns.
Clark dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Clark scores with a sloppy right hand. Johns should have avoided that one.
Clark throws a shot to the body.
Johns misses with a left hand
letting Clark counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johns bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Johns swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johns moves forwards but Clark connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Johns is rocked!
Johns darts in looking for a takedown but Clark gets double underhooks and turns Johns into the cage.
Johns trying to stall but Clark improves his position.
Johns is trying to break the clinch but Clark has him pressed against the cage.
Clark stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Johns is breathing heavily.
A short uppercut from Clark.
Clark unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Clark lands a damaging elbow.
Clark lands a nice knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A short body shot lands from Clark as the two fighters clinch.
Clark has Johns pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Clark pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johns tumbling to the mat - Clark dives into Johns's guard.
Clark cracks Johns with a solid left hand.
Clark is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Johns has momentary wrist control but Clark slips an elbow through the middle.

Oh Johns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Clark is working Johns over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Clark works over Johns with some ground and pound from guard.
Clark gets to his feet and stands over Johns, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Johns felt that one! Clark unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Johns from any more punishment!
