And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Arthur Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.

Akerfeldt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morgan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Morgan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Akerfeldt pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Akerfeldt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Akerfeldt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Akerfeldt wants to work for an arm triangle but Morgan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Morgan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Akerfeldt pulls his head out easily.

Akerfeldt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morgan is just riding it out for now. Akerfeldt eventually gives up the hold.

Akerfeldt jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Morgan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Morgan and Akerfeldt has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Akerfeldt is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Morgan has escaped the position, nice work there.

Akerfeldt has hold of Morgan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Morgan seems comfortable defending it but Akerfeldt has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Morgan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Morgan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Akerfeldt couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Bjorn Akerfeldt decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
