Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freaky Fred (ranked 2383 p4p, 3559 weight class) and Makana Berzebal (ranked 205 p4p, 278 weight class). Makana Berzebal has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Freaky Fred's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freaky Fred!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Makana Berzebal!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fred waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Berzebal.
Berzebal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fred sprawls well initially but Berzebal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fred trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Fred tries to hold on but Berzebal pushes him away.
Berzebal is landing with some decent strikes but Fred is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Berzebal is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fred has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fred!
We've been hearing that Fred has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Fred wants to pass the guard but Berzebal is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fred is working for a guillotine from mount but Berzebal frees his head quite easily.

Fred tries to pass the half guard into mount. Berzebal knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Berzebal is looking for a sweep. Fred is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fred doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Berzebal counters by moving into the clinch.
Berzebal is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fred is keeping busy.

Berzebal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Fred's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fred sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Berzebal seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Makana Berzebal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fred looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fred moves in looking to clinch but Berzebal pushes him off.
Fred throws a front kick aimed at Berzebal's knee but Berzebal avoids it well.

Berzebal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fred swivels though and keeps the full guard.
