Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Heimbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Murder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Heimbach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Murder! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heimbach avoids the head kick by Murder.
Murder fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Murder shoots in and bounces Heimbach off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Murder tries to free his leg and advance position but Heimbach is retaining full guard. Murder sitting in guard here, content to control. Murder pushing down on Heimbach's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Heimbach is in trouble now - Murder has advanced to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murder postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Heimbach looks a forlorn figure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heimbach really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murder pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Murder controlling the position easily from mount. Heimbach keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Murder working the ground and pound effectively.
Heimbach is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murder is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Heimbach is surviving well by controlling Murder's body position as best he can. Murder in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Heimbach is rocked! Murder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Murder with the ground and pound from mount. Oh Heimbach is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Murder looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Heimbach covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
