Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ven Oden (ranked 3504 p4p, 23227 weight class) and Dodge Schotel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schotel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Inner Circle - Games People Play kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Ven Oden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dodge Schotel!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schotel scores with a jab. Ven Oden acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Daniel Ven Oden has been cut.
No joy there for Ven Oden, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schotel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ven Oden sprawling to the canvas! Ven Oden rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Schotel finish him?!
Ven Oden is rocked!
Schotel closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ven Oden! Schotel dives in looking to finish! Ven Oden is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dodge Schotel!
