Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Major Pain!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durand Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Pain jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Durand Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Pain gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Durand Jr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Durand Jr lands a nice hook to Pain's body. Pain takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Durand Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Durand Jr thows a body kick. Pain tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jacques Durand Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durand Jr instigates a clinch.
Durand Jr creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pain's defenses.
Durand Jr scores a nice knee to the body.
Durand Jr lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durand Jr lands an uppercut.
I was talking to Durand Jr's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Durand Jr manages to break the clinch.
Pain has his takedown stuffed
and Durand Jr counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pain looks winded!
Pain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durand Jr pinned against the cage. Durand Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jacques Durand Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Major Pain.

Pain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pain fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Durand Jr sprawls well. Durand Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pain gets slowly back to his feet.
A lazy left from Durand Jr finds it's target.
Durand Jr moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Pain misses with a low kick as Durand Jr jumps back.
Durand Jr looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Durand Jr cracks a nice hook into Pain's ribs.
Durand Jr clinches with his opponent.
Durand Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pain looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pain misses with a combination
and Pain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pain tries to clinch but Durand Jr moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durand Jr keeps the fight on the outside.
Durand Jr connects with a nice looking jab.
Pain takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durand Jr pinned against the cage. Durand Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A punch combination from Pain misses.
Durand Jr moves out of range as Pain throws a body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pain.
Pain has a takedown stuffed.
An attempted straight right counter from Durand Jr misses the target.
Durand Jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pain at a distance.
Danga de danga de dang - Durand Jr scores with a four punch combination!
Durand Jr throws a leg kick which misses Pain's front leg but catches the back leg as Pain tries to avoid it.

Durand Jr lands a big right hand that sends Pain crashing to the mat! Durand Jr stays standing though and waves Pain back to his feet!
Pain is rocked!
Pain leaves his chin hanging out and Durand Jr seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pain crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
