Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kald Derin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Crough!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crough shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Derin pinned against the cage. Derin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Derin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crough lands with a nice combination. Derin backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Kald Derin has been cut.
Derin seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Crough shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Derin is backing up but Crough catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Derin covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Crough Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Crough!
After winning the bout, Roy Crough thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
