Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Wilson (ranked 4323 p4p, 4322 weight class) and Cross Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clay Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cross Bones! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bones gets caught napping as Wilson dives in and scores a takedown. Bones manages to retain guard. Wilson throws a big right hand that misses. Wilson throws an elbow that misses. Bones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wilson's guard. Nice move by Bones! Bones trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bones trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bones on the ground. Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bones stands and steps away. Wilson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bones is in Wilson's guard. Bones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wilson is keeping the position for now. Bones advances to half guard. Bones is looking to advance position but Wilson won't allow it. Bones is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wilson has managed to free his arm - good work. Bones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Wilson defending well though. Bones trying to control from half guard but Wilson is working away. Bones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wilson is not content to let Bones control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bones trying to pass the guard but Wilson defending well. Bones is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bones napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bones is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Bones manages to get to full guard.
Wilson throws a strike but Bones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Wilson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wilson tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson keeping moving, preventing Bones from controlling successfully. Bones advances position into side control! You can see the frustration on Wilson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bones passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wilson! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bones controlling from mount. Bones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cross Bones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Wilson fails with a takedown attempt. Wilson slips a straight right by Bones. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilson. Wilson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bones defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clay Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilson shoots in and bounces Bones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bones trying to keep a closed guard but Wilson is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson postures up and lands a big shot to Bones's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bones's head. Bones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wilson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bones looking for a sweep. Not yet Bones, not yet. Bones is looking for a triangle but Wilson pushes his legs off easily.
Bones looking for a sweep. Not yet Bones, not yet. Bones has momentary wrist control but Wilson slips an elbow through the middle. Bones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilson's guard.
Bones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wilson pulls Bones in to control the position. Wilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wilson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bones. Bones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bones advances position into side control! Bones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wilson has escaped the position, nice work there. Wilson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson stops Bones from passing to mount. Wilson is not content to let Bones control the position. Wilson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cross Bones has got the better of the ground game so far. Bones tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Bones is looking to take a break and control but Wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wilson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wilson darts in looking for a takedown but Bones gets double underhooks and turns Wilson into the cage. Bones is pressed up against the cage. Wilson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bones down to the mat. Bones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cross Bones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Bones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wilson stopping the sweep attempt from Bones. Bones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bones is looking to take a break and control but Wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bones looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Wilson is refusing to be controlled, as Bones sits in half guard. Bones scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wilson won't allow Bones to pass to mount. Bones keeps trying to improve his position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wilson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bones but Bones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wilson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bones was covering up waiting for the punch and Wilson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bones sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bones not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Cross Bones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
