Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Haruki Muramaki (ranked 3221 p4p, 25375 weight class) and Karolj Kasap (ranked 381 p4p, 533 weight class). Haruki Muramaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Haruki Muramaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Karolj Kasap! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muramaki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Muramaki has been working on his boxing with his coaches at PhoQus Island Training in the buildup to the fight. Kasap misses with a hook
and Muramaki counters with a straight right hand. Muramaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Muramaki drops his hands momentarily and Kasap takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kasap throws out a loose jab but Muramaki uses good head movement to avoid it. A counter left hand to the body from Muramaki misses its target. Kasap wants to clinch up but Muramaki keeps it at a distance. Muramaki punishes Kasap's body with a nice straight punch. Kasap throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Muramaki counter with a right hand. Kasap misses with a lunging right hand
and Muramaki counters with a three punch combo that has Kasap backing up. Kasap nods at Muramaki to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kasap takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Muramaki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kasap. Kasap throws the left hand but Muramaki avoids the punch easily. Kasap takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kasap is rocked! Kasap connects with a nice looking jab.
Kasap is still on wobbly legs! Can Muramaki finish him? Kasap misses with a jab to the body
and Muramaki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kasap swings widly with a right hand
and Muramaki counters with a lovely shot to the body. Muramaki throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kasap stumbling backwards into the cage! Kasap bounces back off the cage towards Muramaki, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Muramaki lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Muramaki celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Haruki Muramaki!
