Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Armad Bates (ranked 320 p4p, 295 weight class) and Chad Smith (ranked 42 p4p, 37 weight class). Chad Smith is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armad Bates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Smith!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings for the body but Bates moves out of range.
Bates keeps the fight on the outside.

Smith closes the distance and clinches.

Bates has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Smith has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bates is on him like a limpet, forcing Smith back against the cage.

Bates is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Smith pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
