Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bran Oneil (ranked 4315 p4p, 4407 weight class) and Carlos Uoston (ranked 476 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bran Oneil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Carlos Uoston! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oneil misses with a series of wild punches.
Uoston fails with the takedown and Oneil counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oneil goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Uoston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oneil sprawls well. Oneil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Uoston gets slowly back to his feet. Uoston avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Uoston looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Uoston wants to pass the guard but Oneil is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneil keeping moving, preventing Uoston from controlling successfully. Oneil keeping full guard, as Uoston tries to pass. Uoston passes easily into side control. Nice work. Uoston works to advance to full mount. Oneil defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Uoston is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Oneil can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Uoston moves to the back position. Uoston is working for a rear naked choke. Oneil is not defending it well and Uoston has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Oneil refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Oneil's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Carlos Uoston!
