Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Zapata!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDavid moves in looking to clinch but Zapata pushes him off.

McDavid shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McDavid showed some decent athleticism there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

As McDavid backs off Zapata throws a huge counter combo but McDavid manages to avoid it all.

McDavid closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zapata to the mat! Zapata manages to get full guard.

McDavid seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zapata for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McDavid feints and as Zapata raises his hands in defense, McDavid changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McDavid, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
