Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Mahomes (ranked 726 p4p, 1395 weight class) and Javier Arroyo (ranked 109 p4p, 200 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Mahomes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javier Arroyo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Arroyo. Mahomes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arroyo blocks a jab.
Mahomes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Arroyo.
Javier Arroyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mahomes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mahomes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Arroyo.
Arroyo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mahomes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mahomes.
Arroyo cracks Mahomes with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mahomes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arroyo. That did some damage!
Some wild striking there from Arroyo.
Mahomes throws a hook but Arroyo blocks it.
Mahomes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Arroyo's hands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arroyo thows a body kick. Mahomes tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Mahomes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mahomes jabs Arroyo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mahomes looks to land a left hand but Arroyo moved out of range nicely.
Arroyo slips a jab from Mahomes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Arroyo avoids the body shot from Mahomes.
Mahomes tests Arroyo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arroyo tries a low kick but Mahomes avoids it.
Mahomes missing with a left hand there. Arroyo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Arroyo misses with an uppercut. Mahomes saw that one coming.
Arroyo misses with a lunging right hand
and Mahomes counters with a leg kick.
Mahomes moves out of range as Arroyo strikes.

Arroyo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Arroyo connects with a looping right hand.
Mahomes is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arroyo throws a head kick that misses.
Oh Mahomes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mahomes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Arroyo throws a series of punches but Mahomes avoids them all with ease.
Mahomes seems to have got his legs back now.
Mahomes lands with a kick to the temple. Arroyo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mahomes thumps Arroyo with a low kick.
Arroyo plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Mahomes to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Mahomes just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Javier Arroyo!
A very excited looking Javier Arroyo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
