The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Daddy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Deon Big Daddy has been cut.
Knell finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Big Daddy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Knell explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Knell lands a nice leg kick that just misses Big Daddy 's sensitive parts.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Big Daddy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Knell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Knell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Knell throws a hook but Big Daddy blocks it.
Despite the aggression on Big Daddy 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Big Daddy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A bone on bone clash there as Big Daddy blocks the leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Big Daddy ! But no joy.
Big Daddy misses with a head kick.

Big Daddy has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Knell feints and then cracks Big Daddy 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Big Daddy down.

Big Daddy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knell moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice leg kick lands there from Knell.

A punch lands to the side of Knell 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Death Knell has been cut.
Knell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Knell swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Knell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Big Daddy tries to move into range but Knell moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Knell takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A head kick by Knell misses
enabling Big Daddy to counter with a crisp jab.
Big Daddy slips a jab from Knell.
Big Daddy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A big right from Knell misses.
Knell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Knell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Knell looks to throw the jab but Big Daddy is out of range.
It seemed like Big Daddy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Knell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Big Daddy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Knell's knee momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Big Daddy appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Big Daddy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Knell lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

A punch lands to the side of Knell 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Knell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Big Daddy counters with a straight right hand.
Knell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Big Daddy .
Knell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Big Daddy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

and Big Daddy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Knell! Big Daddy lets Knell back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Knell is rocked!

Big Daddy chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oh Knell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Big Daddy has cracked Knell with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Big Daddy lands another huge swinging hook and Knell tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Knell, before Big Daddy can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Deon Big Daddy !
Deon Big Daddy was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
