Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximilian Bonaparte (ranked 17 p4p, 59 weight class) and Dennis Rader (ranked 5 p4p, 10 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maximilian Bonaparte!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Rader!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rader swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dennis Rader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rader throws a hook but Bonaparte blocks it.
Rader jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rader scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Maximilian Bonaparte has been cut.
Rader throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rader stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rader steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bonaparte. That one must have hurt.
Rader misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rader takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bonaparte throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Rader looks winded!
Bonaparte misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bonaparte fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bonaparte throws a body punch but Rader moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonaparte digs a good hook to Rader's body.

Bonaparte cracks Rader with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bonaparte has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rader to stand back up!

It looks like Dennis Rader has been cut.
A thudding body kick lands there by Bonaparte!
Rader takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rader tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bonaparte was well out of range. Poor timing from Rader.
It looked like Bonaparte was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rader.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bonaparte. Rader does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rader takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bonaparte is looking to wear down Rader with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Rader chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bonaparte can pounce on him.
Bonaparte takes a swing at Rader's ribcage but misses.
Rader throws an off balance right hand

and Bonaparte counters with a nice right hand that sends Rader toppling to the canvas! Rader scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bonaparte finish him?!

Rader is rocked!
Bonaparte throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rader is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bonaparte takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rader will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bonaparte misses with a body shot.
Rader throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonaparte.
Rader swings widly with a right hand
and Bonaparte counters with a solid body kick.
Bonaparte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rader closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bonaparte scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bonaparte cracks Rader on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rader falls backwards against the cage. Bonaparte follows up with more strikes that drop Rader to his knees. Bonaparte keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rader! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maximilian Bonaparte!
Maximilian Bonaparte retains his heavyweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Maximilian Bonaparte thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
