The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts has managed to clinch.

Roberts closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Roberts takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Roberts throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Villian on the side of the head.

Roberts dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Villian. That did some damage!
Roberts throws a front kick that sends Villian stumbling back into the cage.
Roberts tries to bum rush Villian with a series of wild strikes but Villian uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Villian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roberts tries to avoid it but Villian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roberts to the ground. Roberts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Roberts counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Villian throws a series of strikes that have Roberts backpedaling.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Roberts .
Roberts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Villian moves away.
Villian fails with the takedown.
Roberts fakes the leg kick and cracks Villian in the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Roberts throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Villian.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Villian misses with a takedown attempt - Roberts sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Roberts throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A head kick from Roberts lands but Villian takes it in his stride.
Villian is rocked!
Villian walks straight into a right hand from Roberts - that's dropped him! Roberts jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Villian from any more punishment! Villian complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
