Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junior Seto (ranked 481 p4p, 1465 weight class) and Roy Kalama (ranked 59 p4p, 200 weight class). Seto comes to the cage accompanied by The Doors - Roadhouse Blues. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kalama's choice of entrance music: Firestarter - The Prodigy. Junior Seto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roy Kalama's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Junior Seto! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Kalama! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalama cracks Seto with an open hand slap. Kalama connects with a body shot. Kalama waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Seto. Seto misses with a looping left. Seto misses with a hook
and Kalama counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kalama avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kalama waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Seto. Seto definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Seto checks a leg kick. Seto throws a jab when Kalama was well out of range. Seto takes one to the side of the head.
Seto looks to score with a jab to the body but Kalama is just out of range. Seto lands with an uppercut that bounces Kalama off the cage and back into range. Kalama stuns Seto with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Seto misses with a hook. Kalama ducked under it nicely. Kalama scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kalama tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seto was well out of range. Poor timing from Kalama. Seto throws an overhand right that lands on Kalama's shoulder, as Kalama tries to avoid the shot. Kalama connects with a right hand. Seto shakes it off. Seto swings widly with a right hand
and Kalama counters with a lovely straight right hand! Seto takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Seto misses with a right hand and Kalama counters with a straight right hand. Kalama throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Seto sees it coming and avoids it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Kalama misses the target. Seto looks to land a right hand but Kalama moved out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Seto slips under a jab. Kalama looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kalama lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kalama paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Seto misses with a right hand and Kalama counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kalama throws an off balance right hand
and Seto holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Seto wants to take the fight to the mat but Kalama manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Seto wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Seto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Seto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kalama after a bit of a struggle. Seto goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kalama prevents it.
Kalama's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kalama loads up on a big right hand but Seto slips the punch. Seto ducks under a wild hook from Kalama. Kalama misses the shot to the body. Kalama lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Roy Kalama dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Kalama swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Seto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Seto is looking to advance position but Kalama won't allow it. Seto is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Seto throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Seto is working for a guillotine from mount but Kalama frees his head quite easily.
Seto sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kalama tries to hold on but Seto postures up. Seto is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kalama to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kalama shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seto wants to take Kalama's back but he can't do it this time. Seto content just to control the position here. Seto wants to control but Kalama has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Kalama is not content to let Seto control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kalama can do anything to dispel that myth. Seto is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Seto wants to control but Kalama is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kalama is defending against the submission attempts here by Seto.
Seto wants to free his trapped foot but Kalama is holding on for dear life with his legs. Seto controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seto is trying to control. Kalama wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Seto is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Seto shoots in looking for a takedown but Kalama manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kalama has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kalama missing with a left hand there. Seto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kalama scores with a shot to the body.
