Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Convicted Kelly (ranked 1856 p4p, 1736 weight class) and Ardahan Battuga (ranked 251 p4p, 235 weight class). Kelly comes into the arena with Bump and grind blaring out of the sound system. Ardahan Battuga will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly wants to clinch.
Battuga appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Kelly with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Battuga to score with a decent uppercut.

Battuga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Battuga lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Battuga feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kellys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A little jabbing left from Battuga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Battuga throws a body shot but no joy.

Battuga's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kelly under the eye.
Battuga has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Kelly takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Battuga pushes him off.
Kelly walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Kelly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Kelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Battuga scores with a counter punch that sends Kelly to the canvas! Battuga smells blood - he's punishing Kelly with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kelly has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
