Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferenc Fazekas (ranked 2057 p4p, 2553 weight class) and Joey Cruz (ranked 228 p4p, 278 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cruz rushes Fazekas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fazekas lands with a left to the head.
Cruz misses with the head strike.
Cruz throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fazekas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cruz or not.
Cruz lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Ferenc Fazekas has been cut.

Fazekas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cruz's coach down at Tappelukerho was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cruz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cruz wants to clinch.
Cruz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cruz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Joey Cruz has been cut.
Fazekas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Fazekas cracks Cruz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fazekas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cruz to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fazekas gets tackled into the cage by Cruz. Cruz maintains the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Cruz scores with a nice short uppercut.

Cruz manages to break the clinch.
Fazekas drops Cruz with a naaaaasty hook - Cruz is in real trouble here! Fazekas dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
