The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gravius Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gardner thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gravius Jr digs a good body shot into Gardner's ribs.

Gravius Jr pushes Gardner up against the cage in a clinch.
Gardner tries for a takedown but Gravius Jr manages to get underhooks.
Gravius Jr lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gardner backwards.

Gravius Jr drops Gardner with a big knee straight up the middle! Gardner is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Gardner is rocked!

It looks like Rulon Gardner has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gardner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gravius Jr.
Gardner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gravius Jr.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Gravius Jr moves into the clinch.

Gravius Jr dodges an elbow strike from Gardner.

Gardner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gravius Jr keeps Gardner at a distance using the push kick.
Gardner tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
