Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Hill (ranked 2558 p4p, 2264 weight class) and Adam Fudge (ranked 324 p4p, 298 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elijah Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Fudge! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Fudge does no damage. Hill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fudge to the ground. Hill is now in Fudge's guard. Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Fudge is retaining full guard. Fudge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fudge has momentary wrist control but Hill slips an elbow through the middle. Hill is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hill lands a couple of digs. Fudge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hill is in close to Fudge's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hill controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hill throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fudge works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill throws a big right hand that misses. Hill postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fudge being controlled here, momentarily. Hill distracts Fudge with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hill in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hill working some strikes from top position. Hill controls from within his opponent's guard. Hill with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fudge is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hill dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Fudge to see if he's OK. Fudge trying to remain calm as Hill controls from the top position. Hill throwing shots but missing, from side control. Check out the look on Hill's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fudge takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hill controls the position from side control. Hill lands a nice forearm strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hill controlling the position. Hill in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fudge is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Elijah Hill! Elijah Hill decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
