This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. McCain shoots in looking for a takedown. Pavlov tries to sprawl out of it but McCain keeps driving through. McCain has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Pavlov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McCain has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Pavlov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McCain taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Pavlov doesn't care though - he's delighted!
