This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 16 losses; Boris Balkan! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Anderson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Balkan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Anderson (0) vs (4) Balkan Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Balkan keeps moving and retains side control. Balkan tries for an arm triangle. He has the arm isolated but Balkan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Anderson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Balkan, who protects the arm well.
