Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ale Castro (ranked 6186 p4p, 5377 weight class) and Ravjeet Peitheiyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peitheiyan has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ravjeet Peitheiyan!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peitheiyan misses with a takedown attempt - Castro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Peitheiyan looks winded!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peitheiyan walks into a stiff left hand from Castro.
Castro keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Castro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ale Castro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ravjeet Peitheiyan.

Castro closes the distance and clinches.

Castro has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Peitheiyan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Castro is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Peitheiyan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Peitheiyan for a finish.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castro is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Castro gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Castro gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Castro apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Castro drops Peitheiyan with a left and a right! Oh, Peitheiyan is hurt - Castro dives into side control looking to finish!

Peitheiyan is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big shot lands for Castro! That's hurt Peitheiyan! Will he recover? Castro fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ale Castro!
