Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Mcarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Partridge! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcarthy shoots for a double leg takedown but Partridge sprawls well. He's pushed Mcarthy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mcarthy fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Mcarthy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcarthy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Partridge tries to avoid it but Mcarthy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Partridge to the ground. Partridge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mcarthy shoots in looking for a takedown. Partridge tries to sprawl out of it but Mcarthy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Partridge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mcarthy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Partridge. Partridge is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mcarthy is trying to escape and Partridge transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mcarthy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Partridge! Very nice indeed!
